I bought this power supply (It's not a
"transformer" even though it certainly contains one) for use in some
6500K LED light "rope" under my kitchen cabinets. After getting the LED
rope installed under the cabinets, I connected my lab power supply to
it and found that it draws about 1.9 amps of current (=22.8W), which is
well within the 2.5 amp/30 watt rating of the supply.
